No birds or bees for sex education then?

Two ideas in this post

1.
I thought State and Church were separate entities?

"The Church of England and Church in Wales will be banned in law from offering same-sex marriages, but other religious organisations will be able to "opt in" to holding ceremonies."

I think "banning"  the Church of England and Church in Wales in doing anything is a bit rich whilst other religious organisations will be able to "opt in" or presumably "opt out".

Is this WEIRD? What am I missing?

Is this even weirder?

 "On a separate point, Baroness Warsi asked Mrs Miller what consideration had been given to the teaching of equal marriage in schools, after concerns were raised about the impact of same-sex marriage on sex education."

Wonder what a lesson in THAT would be like? Confusing?

I suppose birds and bees aren't on any sex education syllabus anymore. 

I'm not complaining - just observing how we are progressing on this alien planet.
