The trend of my blogs – What the hell has gone wrong?

What is the cause of the dissatisfaction I find in people of my age? Well, what is wrong with my generation is that we are grumpy old people!

We see such changes in society, it makes us choke. No, its not the technological age – loads of us are absolutely smashingly adept with technology. No, its not computers or the Internet or shopping online – we can do that too. No, its not the fact that Altzheimers or cancer are rising statistically. No, its not that all our grandchildren seem to have allergies, asthma, or poor appetites. No, its not that we can't smoke in Pubs any more, or use dope in the park. No, its not that the new priests are scientists and not Roman Catholics. No, its not that the doctor knows nothing about us, our families, or the medicine they prescribe – or even the side effects they cause. No – its none of those things.

It's the noose! It's the noose that tightens slowly with every new legislation that restricts us. Thinking, speaking, doing has become a hazardous activity. There is no room for spontaneity. Spontaneity is what we LIKE! Remember we are the Flower Children generation, the LSD using generation, the Women's Lib generation, the Pill generation, the fist Teenager generation – we opened the doors! What the hell has gone wrong? We see Political Correctness, Health and Safety Regulations, Game Theory Governance and the eternal quest for SAFETY AT ALL COSTS as a ghastly erosion of the freedom that should belong to us all. And we are horrified that the new generation haven't a clue what it is like to live in a normal society.
